Uncertainty brings a degree of instability. I guess how extreme that instability is will be determined by the level of uncertainty. I remember as a teenager during the 1987 General Election campaign being told how elections brings uncertainty to the currency markets, and stirling would definitely weaken and therefore a good time to invest...read more
