Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA)
A professional and regulatory body for lettings agents in the UK. Strong focus on promoting standards in the lettings sector of the property market. All members must have NFOPP qualifications.
Association of Professional Inventory Providers (APIP)
Provides a recognised standard of inventory provision, advice and guidance, and opportunities for professional development. To become a member you must pass their examination.
Institute of Residential Property Managers (IRPM)
Raises standards in the sector through career development opportunities. Delivers professional qualifications in residential property management. You reach higher levels of membership by passing exams.
SAFE Agent
A consumer kitemark, co-founded by Young London, that shows landlords and tenants that their money is protected by a client money protection (CMP) scheme.
National Approved Lettings Scheme (NALS)
An accreditation scheme for lettings agents that agree to defined standards of customer service and have client money protection in place.
